California's Route 104

Route 104 is from:

  • (a) Route 99 near Arno to Route 88 near Ione.
  • (b) Route 88 west of Martell to Route 88 southwest of Pine Grove via the vicinity of Sutter Creek. [CS&HC Sec. 404]

    Status

    Unconstructed from Route 49 in Martell to Route 88 near Pine Grove. The parallel road along this portion is Ridge Road. Caltrans has no plans to adopt this route.

  • 1970: Part (b) and former part (c), from Route 88 southwest of Pioneer Station to Route 26, added.
  • 1984: Former part (c) transferred to Route 26.

    Points of Interest

    Rancho Seco Recreational Area is located at Rancho Seco Road in Sacramento County. Camping, fishing, swimming, boating and bird-watching are among the many activities you and your family can do here. The park is also host to a semi-annual trout derby.

    Truck Routes and Terminal Access

  • Junction Route 99 to Rancho Seco Road: Terminal Access. A turnaround is available at Rancho Seco Road.
  • Rancho Seco Road to Michigan Bar Road, 3.3 miles west of Junction Route 124: California Legal (40-foot KPRA).
  • Michigan Bar Road to west junction of Foothill Boulevard, 0.5 miles east of Route 124: The KPRA advised for the route is less than 30 feet.
  • Foothill Boulevard to Route 88: California Legal (40-foot KPRA).
  • Route 88 to Route 49 - End of Route: Terminal Access.
