The Matrix
| In this scence Neo has the choice to go back to his normal life or take the risk of living. This is a very hard choice to make. This is a choice between "what is right and what is easy"(Dumbledore to Harry). This is like to choice God gives us. We can be blinded by the devil's regular looks or take a risk and live in freedom with God. |
This is when Neo is killed the first time. Neo is in the Matrix running from Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith can be representative of Neo's fears or the devil. At first it seems as though Neo gives in, but when Trinity kisses Neo showing him love, Neo comes back to life. He defeats his fears as well as Mr. Smith. Neo and Trinity now share a special relationship, love. |
| Neo meets with the Architect. The Architect is the creator of the Matrix. Therefore he is like God. The Architect says he knows and sees all, but he can not see beyond a choice. Choices are left up to humans to make. The Architect gives Neo a choice of love between saving Trinity or saving Zion. Neo chooses to save Trinity. | Here Neo realises Trinity is in danger. She came into the Matrix when she realised Neo was in trouble. While she is falling, she fights with the devil, a Smith agent. Neo catches her before she hits the ground. As Neo lays Trinity down, he realises she is hurt. She dies in his arms. But Neo brings her back to life, just like Jesus did. Neo saving Trinity lets her live for awhile longer but ultimately leads to both of their deaths. Neo realises the solution to saving Zion is going to "machine city" and Trinity comes with him. |
