Who is Benjamin?

Every time I write a new short story or play, I draw a frontispiece to illustrate the manuscript title page.

The pictures in the frontispieces illustrate or hint at the contents of the tale they are designed to introduce. All of the designs here were originally drawn in pen and ink, and rendered to look like engravings, such as would have appeared in seventeenth and eighteenth century publications.
