Gift
of Hope
(Separate
Organisation)
The Ram
Krishna Ashram and The Bharat Sevashram of Burdwan are well-known organisations
in India who undertake humanitarian services for the poor and distressed people
throughout the country. They also provide relief and rehabilitation work at
the time of natural calamity. These organisations need no itroduction and
are best known for their dedicated service irrespective of cast or creed.
During a recent visit to India, my heartfelt appreciation was drawn to the
following.
The Ramkrisna Ashram at Burdwan provides 3 Eye Camps a year and 200 Cataract
Operations (30 a day) at their own surgery. Without this simple operation,
a child or parent may go blind and have to depend on others all their life.
The Bharat Sevashram at Rathtala, Burdwan provides accomodation, board and
education for 28 boys from 7 to 16 years of age. These boys have been orphaned
or are from a remote village and previously had no hope for a decent life.
The Swamijee of the Ashram expressed that they have an immediate need for
at least seventy five boys to be accomodated in the Ashram but was unable
to proceed due to lack of funds.
Your help of any amount for the above ..... may return the light
to another person’s world.
Will
you please give the gift of hope for an
indepedent and decent life ?
Thanking you in anticipation
'Save
the Blind' is a separate organisation
for poor and distressed people
