SUMMARY:

A brief summary of this book is Percy and Annabeth fall into Tartarus and land in the River Coctus. Annabeth wants to find a different river because she has heard that it can heal you. Percy and Annabeth then wander, find a steep cliff and climb down it. At the bottom, the find the river they have been looking for. The Rver is named Phlegethom. Annabeth drinks from the river and is healed. At the same time Jason and his crew are fighting Gods of the mountains. After the victory on the mountain, Hazel practices "The Mist". Khione (the Goddess of snow) takes Leo to a majical island where he cant escape , but after two weeks a majical raft comes to take Leo. When the Argo 2 (Leos warship) meets up with him they go into the Cadacombs to the Doors of Death. Meanwhle in Tartarus Percy and Annebeth meet up a Titan named Bob. Bob helps Percy and Annabeth get to the Doors of Death. When they get here Bob sacrifices himself for Percy and Annebeth. When Percy and Annebeth get to the top they meet up with Jason and the crew and battle Cytius.

CRITIQUE:

House of Hades was my favorite book in the series by Rick Roirdan The book is action packed. There were two things happening at once during the whole book. It is very exciting. Everyone should read the entire series.
