Hermit's
Can Hold a Tune…

The
tune of putting up goals in each
period… Following a lackluster
performance against Five Beer Minimum
last week, Herman's Hermits looked to
avenge their Friday Night loss. With a
late first period power play opportunity
Jack Ryan cashed in to put the Hermits up
1-0, however later in the opening period
Jack Clifford would even the score.
The
second period had memories of the
previous week when the Hermit's defense
coughed up the puck leading to a
breakaway chance by Matt Baird, that
netminder Tony Riccomini would miss
blocker side. Heads were not hung on the
Hermit's bench they would fight back to
tie the game 2-2 on a goal provided by
the hard working Greg Lum.
In
the 3rd period Ben Lee broke away from
the pack to score for the Hermits and put
the team up 3-2. In the remaining 3
minutes of the game, Five Beer Min would
throw everything and everyone to the net,
a strong effort was put forth by
Riccomini and all chances were denied.
