Sauce Have the Recipe

Recipe
to beat any team is to shoot, shoot, and
shoot some more. The Scoring started in
the first period when John Bluth of
Secret Sauce cashed in on a rebound off a
save from Hermit’s Goalie.
In
the second period The Sauce kept cooking
with 2 shorthanded goals one from subbing
Phil Roveto and another one from Chris
Kendall. The Hermits were off key for
most of the night, however Herman Yee
slipped in a late 2nd Period goal to
scratch the surface.
The
third period found the Hermits playing a
different tune with Ben Lee scoring mid-way
through the period to close the gap, then
after a slippery stick from the
Hermits’ goalie the puck found its
way up the ice to Bert Gatchalian who
tied the game with 1:21 left in the game.
The game looked as if it might head to
overtime, but just 9 seconds later Phil
Roveto slipped behind the Hermits defense
and fired a laser to a short side beating
the goalie and ultimately beating the
Hermits.
