Lighters Escape Meercats' Death Grip

If
you were one of the lucky ones to get
tickets to last nights Meercats and Lamp
Lighters game you got your money worth.
IN what many people were calling the game
of the century, the Lamp Lighter wearing
their new Orange and Black jerseys beat
the Meercats 4-2.
After
Captain Joe "sitting by the dock of
the" Balan of the Lamp Lighters was
called for his first of three penalties,
the Meercats struck first with a
beautiful goal by Dave "Ferrari"
Verderosa assist by his usual companion,
Jared "Allen" Ginsberg. The
Lamp Lighters would answer back with a
goal by Balan assisted by Brent Jenkins.
Dr. Brent Jenkins "and Mr. Hyde"
figured in on all 4 Lamp Lighters goals
with 1 goal and 3 assist. Before the end
of the period, the Lamp Lighters would
get another one by Jenkins, assisted by
Daniel "going to the supermarket is
such a" Hassel..son.
The
second period saw two more goals by the
Lamp Lighters, first Balan from Jenkins
and then Hasselson from Jenkins again.
But the Meercats would make it close
scoring in the same period on a nice
effort in front of the net by Will "Paul"
Mitchell.
The
last frame saw stellar goaltending by
Craig "the monster" Nash and
"Sugar" Kane Ng.
The
Lamp Lighters also had solid defense from
Alaric "Millenium" Falcon, Andy
"Sexual" Harris (ment) and Jim
"Dread" Loucks. Also, chipping
in for the Lamp Lighters on the offensive
side, were Paul " it is legal in
some states to marry your first"
Cousineau and Andy "I can do a push
ups with one" Han.
After
the game Captain Joe Balan stated: The
Meercats are a top notch organization.
They are one of the original 4 teams that
have been around since the start of this
league. All organizations should strive
to have the success they have had.
