Lamp
Lighters lick Beavers 5-3

In
a game that saw a lot of emotion and some
questionable calls, the Lamp Lighters
were able to hold on and beat the beavers
5-3. Brent "the hit-man"
Jenkins recorded his first Hat Trick of
the season and led all goal scorers.
Andy
"clapp your" Han "everybody
and everbody clapp your hans" added
two goals for the Lamp Lighters. Daniel
"David" Hesselson"off",
(nick name back by popular demand) had 4
assists to help Lamp Lighters.
The
fisty Beavers, had goals by Doug "
Elliot" Gould, who found the back of
the net twice and "Why don't you"
Phil "me up buttercup" Roveto.
The
Lamp Lighters saw solid defensive
performances by Alaric "What the"
Falcon, Andy "don't" Harris
"my goalie", and Jim "wasn't
my favorite subject in school"
Loucks."
Ford "he's a" Goodman and Craig
Nash "ed potatoes" both played
very well in the pipes.
Assists
in the game for the Lamp Lighters came
from Hesselson, Joe "Joe" Balan,
and Bob "Big Boy" Spiro. For
the trimmed Beavers, who look like as a
team lost a lot of weight, had assists by
Randal "give me 10" Chen "ups"
, Phil "viva K-beck" Bergeron
and Brian "the" Fox and Ben
Fisher "price".
After
the Game, coach Balan said, the Beavers
have gone through some great off season
moves. They installed a new captain and
picked up the most sought after prospect
in years. I have to hand it to their
front office, the respect I have for that
organization is just tremendous.
