Gain Shutout Win in Meercats Manor Fiasco

The
Gerihatricks put aside their walkers last
night at Belmont Iceland, blanking The
Meercats 6:0, notching the league's first
shutout of the young season.
Brent
Jenkins had 2 goals while Gordon
Macpherson scored once on a shorthaded
breakaway and assisted twice. Craig
Wallace, Brian Sena, and Jim Loucks were
the other scorers while Mike Phipps
became the first goaltender to record a
shutout this season.
Without
Jared Ginsburg - their top scoring player,
the Meercats were unable to mount any
productive offense.
