Beavers
loose their captain and the game

Ben
Fisher, the Beavers' captain, was ejected
from the game in a third period after
arguing with the referees about several
calls against his team.
In
a post-game interview, Ben made these
comments: "~$#*iN%! @hi* piece of C@Ap,
you C*@K sU@ke*!!”. Translated
roughly he said: “Great game guys,
that was a lot of fun!”
Even
some of the Stingers' players said after
the game that there were a few
questionable calls by the refs and most
of such calls were not in the Beavers'
favor.
As
for the game, the Stingers built a 4:1
lead in the first period on goals by Neil
Parkin, Keith Taylor, and Francis Albert
(2). In the second, the Beavers were able
to cut the defecit to a minimum - Ben
Fisher and Phil Roveto scored two
unanswered tallies. But with five and a
half minutes to go in the third the
Beavers were called for a cross-checking
penalty and Stingers' David Cunningham
cashed in on a power play. Mark Allen
assisted four times in Stingers' victory.
