Beavers
stun the Meercats in a 6:2 win

Ludovic
Legrand had 2 goals helping the Beavers
to skate to a 6:2 win over the
shorthanded Meercats. The Beavers came
out strong and David Tesarowski opened
the scoring 50 seconds into the game by
redirecting a defenseman’s shot.
The
Beavers were pressuring offensively on
every shift and at the end of the night
eight their players including a goalie
had at least a point on the score sheet.
Phil Roveto, Brian Fox, Dudley Chamberlin,
and Phil Bergeron were the other goal
scorers for the winners.
As
for the Meercats, they laced up only 7
skaters for the game and couldn’t
keep up with the fast skating Beavers.
Jared Ginsburg put the Meercats on the
board in the first period while Vince
Ticoulet added another tally in the third.

get their tails slapped!

In
perhaps the best game this young club has
played in, the Beavers beat the Meercats
6:2. Top to bottom the Beavers played
well, Joe Prestipino - the substitute
Beavers' goaltender - stepped up when he
had to.
One
of the best defensive pairing in Belmont's
4-on-4 league Dudley Chamberlin and Ludo
LeGrand combined for three of the six
Beavers' goals. The Meercats could not
find a defensive solution to Dudley or
Ludo who kept popping water bottles with
their hot big shots.
