YOUNGBLOODS
STOP GERIHATRICKS

In
game that saw great goaltending, great
goal scoring, and an ejected player, the
fans that paid to see this one got their
money worth. The contest started out with
two quick scores by Joe Balan in the
first 3 minutes of play followed by
"Last Word" Larry "The Wax"
Waxman finding the back of the net. After
one it was 3-0 in favor of the
Youngbloods.
The
second period didn't start off much
better for the Gerihatricks with another
goal for Joe Balan and Larry "The
Legend” Waxman, who received a
beautiful pass from Trevor "I'm
going to your house to see your mother"
Lawely. The Gerihatricks would not remain
silent though. Gordon "The Gordito"
MacPherson got the Gerihatricks on the
board with a beautiful goal, which was
followed up by another one from Brent
Jenkins. These two periods also saw some
great goaltending by Johnny Blaze, who
made stellar saves to keep the
Youngbloods ahead in this contest. The
goalie for the Gerihatricks also played a
great game turning away a ton of
Youngblood shots. Flashes of Ron Hextall
were in the air that night. The period
ended 5-2.
The
third period saw three tallies total.
First Jack "The Ripper" Regan
made the score 6-2. The Gerihatricks
would keep it close, however, scoring the
next two – one by CWall, Craig
"What you taking about willis"
Wallace and Andy Han. In this last frame
of the game besides the scoring a player
got ejected for an unsportsmanlike
penalty (for details please see the
Youngbloods’ Public Relations
department). But Johnny Blaze would prove
to be too much in the end helping the
Youngbloods to a victory.
