Beavers
hand Stingers first loss
By Neil Parkin
      Ben
Fisher and his Beavers slapped their
tails and stopped the buzzing Stingers
regulation time unbeaten streak at 8
games with a 6-4 win Friday.
      Ben
Fisher scored 2 goals including an empty-netter,
Dudley Chamberlin and Phil Roveto both
had a goal and an assist, and Ludovic
Legrand and David Tesarowski each scored
one as the Beavers dominated the pace of
play.
      Scoring
for the Stingers was split up by David
Cunningham (2), Rick Rees (on a nice
deflection of a shot from the point by
sub Kris White), and Francis Albert.
      The
Beavers improved their record to 6 and 4
while the Stingers fell to 6-1-2. Three
teams (these two and the Youngbloods) are
now within 2 point of each other in the
league standings.
