Youngbloods
refreeze Cavemen

The
Youngbloods played their best game of the
season to defeat the UCHP 10-2. The game
started off very close with the
Youngbloods taking a 2-1 lead after the 1st
period. In the second, the game took a
different tone with the Youngbloods
scoring 4 unanswered goals to go up 6-1.
One
minute into the last frame the Caveman
scored their second goal of the night,
but it would be Trevor Lawley who put on
a show in the last 10 minutes with 3
goals and an assist to finish off the
route. Jonny Blaze also made some amazing
stops to hold the Cavemen at bay and to
lower his GAA.
Captain
Joe Balan stated after the game:
“The Cavemen are a good team with
some very good talent. They have one of
the most brilliant front office minds in
Matt Baird. His stint as the President of
Operations of Four Play Inc. is proof of
that. Some say he is Bill Belichick of
the 4 on 4 hockey world. If the Cavemen
can get a regular lineup each week, I
think they are one of the top teams. I am
sure Matt has a few moves he has not
played yet to get this team going.”
