Sorrow was the seed
Sorrow Was The Seed
Your way of life has wilted
You cannot understand
How something once so vibrant
Clings limply to the land
Give love a chance to flourish
Give peace a chance to be
Gather up the confidence
To set your spirit free
You mustn't be afraid to lose
Or you may never win
Let hopes be fertilizers
That will help new growth begin
Never be discouraged by
Your own impending doubts
It's in that curiosity
That self-reliance sprouts
Stretch your roots out comfortably
You finally have the room
And now in such adversity
You bravely dare to bloom
The flower you have blossomed to
You worried was a weed
You've grown so strong and beautiful
And sorrow was the seed
