SMILE
Smile for me so I can see
A glimpse of hope while I feel down
For I have felt alone so long
I've grown accustomed to this frown

But if you smile, I may smile too
And then a smile because of me
And extra smiles because of you
and laughter - suddenly I'm free
Imagine if I didn't cry
How a simple smile could change my day
and then perhaps another's life
and how a smile could change my way
As if a rose lain in my hand
A smile could lighten all this woe
Remind me I deserve to laugh
For sometimes, love I do not know!
