It's over! You'll live and move on!
Don't worry. Don't panic. It could've been worse
It's not like you're whole life is gone.
Stop thinking, stop dwelling. It's all in the past!
You really should live in the now!
Why aren't you eating? What is the problem?
It's coping skills - don't you know how?
Don't say a word if you really don't care
Don't knock on my door and don't call
Don't open your mouth just to say you've been there
'Cause you're really not helping at all.
I'm already feeling a mountain of pain
And crying an ocean of tears
I don't need the world to make sure I feel guilty
For having these sorrows and fears!
Some come bearing hugs, or a handshake or card
Or say you've been thinking of me
Tell me a joke, or just pick me a flower
But otherwise just let me be.
