Well, we're here again
Another vist, and another waste.
The change inside is
the one that matters
When it doesn't work
The outside Shatters
and falls
in pieces
to the cold tiled floor.
So start the puzzle again,
Piece by damned piece
Until the next time
The next Disaster.
Start Again.
Circle. Repeat.
Eternal.
Pretenders all
We sit and play
And ne'er we let them win.
Concede a one
or two
or three
It matters not to you and me
The battle may be over
The war it still goes on
We scrabble back
and lick our wounds
And plan whats to be done
To be an opportunist
Takes no time at all
For if we are but patient
Our foes are sure to fall
And then the game begins again
Just like it did before
At times it hurts us
make us bleed
But we need it all the more.
Day breaks above the Spire
Sunlight on steel
Scents of leather and horse sweat.
A challenge honoured
Blood, like rivers flow
Wade in mud and tears.
Broken bodies,
Blackened walls.
The sun, it's zenith passed,
Sees all who stand
Or die, the same
Hate continues
Man and Beast alike
Lain down
Slain down
Green turns red and brown
Dusk sings it's song
The crackle and hum
A globe of light
Blue white
Fierce
Stone walls
Run liquid to the dirt
Death in the streets
The Spire, and night, Falls!
And now I wander
slowly, through the passing days
lost in a haze,
and wondering,
how did I get here?
And now I'm sundered
torn to my soul
no way to keep it whole,

hoping, someone will hear
trapped in my fear,
and descending,

And now I'm smiling
held to my heart
another new start,
and revealing,
how I got here!
Translucent pictures in my head
Keep me live, or make me dead
Mealstrom spinning
round and round
destroys my mind
disturbing sound
Silence deafens
lost and blind
searching for
that thing inside
falling, falling
can't get up
the road ahead
paved with blood
Whispers screech into my mind
can't I leave it all behind?
Blackened burned and wretched soul
the only thing that keeps me whole
lifeless eyes
stare ahead
plastic people
waste my time
while searching for the perfect crime
they live
is that not enough
Search yourself and you will see
life is death and we are free

A world apart

In the Galactic lost and found

It takes these things to make me whole
It ain't just love and care and grace
thaty show up on this lonley face
With Anger death and fear and hate
You want to save, but it's too late
My soul has fallen to the pit
Accept it all cause this is it
But still the love is there through all
And if you could but scale the wall
Then fight the demons, send them back
Fend off all that may attack
You'll find inside that long lost child
And maybe you can make him smile
But now that innocence is gone
There is nothing to be done
Just take the rest, 'cause it will do

My strength is drawn from what's within
From all the goodness, all the sin
No matter what I try to hide

Before I knew how to walk,

Is not the best way
for mankind.
You choose your own pattern
To be woven on life's loom

You may have to stop.
Re-thread,
Or start over.
But whatever happens
The Warp and Wheft
In your cloak of ages
Can never be destroyed.
Weave on, never give up
and create yourself
Protection, whatever the weather
