BELANGTARA 2002

Belangtara means wild tiger in Malay language and the characters 20 and inverted 20 denote Vision 2020.  In line with Vision 2020, our team is embarked on an ambitious plan to leapfrog into the Information Age by preparing ourselves with the basic skills to be inventers of tomorrow technology and not users of present technology.

The unity of the team members. As a team, we work closely together and co-operatively even though we have to face problems and obstacles in any situations. In solving the problems we faced, we analyze situations, and see things from different perspectives and every angle to ensure that the best solution comes up.

RED

The quest for knowledge. The spirits of pioneering, courage and persistence in confronting challenges. The strength of the team and the readiness of the team in facing obstacles and circumstances as well as work together as a team. Good teamwork is based on good leadership and management skills with the knowledge they have in them.

BLACK

The intense of the team in exploring new knowledge and experience different tasks. The team is excelling to be the best and putting the name of Malaysia and Universiti Putra Malaysia to the eyes of world.
