Summary

A team from Universiti Putra Malaysia won 2awards in the ASAE 1/4 Scale Tractor Design

Competition 2001. Dr. Abdul Rashid, head of delegation said that UPM was the first team from Asia

to participate in this competition. The team have shown their unity and teamwork in this event.

Dr. Azmi Yahya, technical advisor said that even though the team did not win as an overall champion

 this year but the students gained experiences through their participation in this tractor competition.

Overall champion was Kansas State University followed by

University of  Tennessee and University of Wisconsin.
