there are a whole bunch of new things this month so instead of using up a wad of space on my homepage i thought this would be a better way ...
i have a new niece! eva janelle macqueen made her entrance (er - exit? ... whatever) on friday, october 3, 2003. perfect, naturally, and really sweet and cuddly and adorable.
i leave for sakeji school, (zambia) on tuesday, october 14 ... WOO HOO can't wait! my first flight overseas and a year away in a whole other world ...
had my last day of work and my birthday all on the same day last week - talk about flood time! i had so many teary goodbyes that i almost reconsidered going ... but think of all the generous gifts i'd have to return ... the postage alone convinced me to stick with my plans.
well kinda.
so i'm going to fly for 2 days straight and then find myself plopped in the middle of zambia ...
anyway. that's the news!
not sure if there'll be any updates 'til i get back, but enjoy the site! and again, feel free to drop me a line or several. and i'll write back. (unless you're a scary creep - in which case be warned! i have friends in the fbi ...)
