your eyes, they burn into me. i don't have to look; always feel it. it is similar to the chemical reaction i sense occuring in this flesh when the sun radiates & burns this skin, but simultaneously it is an entirely different sensation altogether. it is as if your eyes & body emit a similar radiation, only felt by the one it is directed towards.
pain, from knowing what is being caused, cannot be avoided. you want what i feel i cannot give. your desire is for more than i could have to offer. inevitability. known, but cannot be changed. waiting, but, no.
