Affiliated to the Rambler's Association
The club's objectives are to encourage and provide facilities for rambling,the preservation of footpaths and the appreciation of the countryside.
Activities organised each year for members include:
*a weekly programme of A and B walks;
*four coach trips, during the summer months, for a day's rambling further afield;
*biannual club holidays in Britain in early April and October, each with three days of organised rambles;
*a number of social events.
