1.  Chopping wood for the nightly fires

2.  Anchored the swing set

3.  Shrink wrapped the water tower to make it last longer from the elements

5.  Large pipe will be brought next to the swings for the kids to crawl into

Mark your calendar for next year’s Men’s working weekend.  The date has been changed to May 3rd and 4th, 2008.  Anyone wishing to attend should contact Pat a few weeks prior for planning purposes at 905-894-1410.

Bottle/Can Pickup.

Night lights. Bernice Beaulieu Clan Terry Beaulieu
A battery operated light at each outhouse needs to be turned on at dusk.  Ask Pat Beaulieu where they are stored.

Fire Pit Cleanup and Maintenance. Yolande Kiely Clan Anne-Marie Perry Clan
Cleanup and maintenance includes a visual check of the general fire pit area, paying close attention to safety issues such as broken bottles, etc.  This assignment is intended to keep the fire pit area clean and safe for children, especially in the morning when they frequently gather at the fire pit while waiting for breakfast.  Smokers:  The fire pit is a natural and very large ashtray that's easy to use.  Please use the ashtray, not the ground surrounding it.

Beach Cleanup and Maintenance. Anne-Marie Perry Clan Ross Tripp Clan
Maintenance includes cleaning up garbage on and around the beach area and dock area, maintain the garbage can next to the picnic table at the beach, and generally tidying up at dusk.  It is anticipated that the burden of this assignment will be kept to a minimum if we all look after our own returnable bottles and cans and dispose of our own garbage in the garbage can provided, near the picnic table on the beach.
