Yellow Submarine (Lennon/McCartney)--We've talked about this one before, but maybe there's something new...Donovan helped with the lyrics. (Donovan was sort of England's response to Bob Dylan, and a pretty big star at that time.)

In the town where I was born,
Lived a man who sailed to sea,
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines.
So we sailed into the sun,
'Til we found the sea of green,
And we lived beneath the waves
In our yellow submarine.

We all live in a yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine.
We all live in a yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine.

And our friends are all aboard,
Many more of them live next door.
And the band begins to play.

We all live in a yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine.
We all live in a yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine.

As we live a life of ease,
Every one of us (every one of us)
Has all we need (has all we need):
Sky of blue (sky of blue)
And sea of green (sea of green)
In our yellow (in our yellow)
Submarine (submarine, ah-ha!)

We all live in a yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine.
We all live in a yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine?

To the top, Johnny!

Only A Northern Song (Harrison)--This song was acutally in the recording process during the Sgt. Pepper sessions, but was chucked.

If you're listening to this song,
You may think the chords are going wrong,
But they're not; we just wrote it like that.
When you're listening late at night,
You may think that band is not quite right,
But they are; they just play it like that.

It doesn't really matter what chords I play,
What words I say, or time of day it is,
'Cause it's only a northern song.

It doesn't really matter what clothes I wear,
Or how I fare, or if my hair is brown,
When it's only a northern song.

If you think the harmony
Is a little dark and out of key,
You're correct. There's nobody there.
And it's only?there's no one there.

To the top, Johnny!

All Together Now (Lennon/McCartney)--"What's the matter John luv, blue meanies?" The Beatles have to do away with the Blue meanies by "SINGING!" They make a live appearance at the end of the cartoon Yellow Submarine and sing this song.

One, two, three, four,
Can I have a little more?
Five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten,
I love you.

A, B, C, D,
Can I bring my friend to tea?
E, F, G, H, I, J,
I love you.

Sail the ship.
Chop the tree.
Skip the rope.
Look at me.
All together now,

All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now).

Black, white, green, red,
Can I take my friend to bed?
Pink, brown, yellow, orange, and blue,
I love you.
All together now,

All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now).
All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now).

Sail the ship.
Chop the tree.
Skip the rope.
Look at me.
All together now,

All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now).
All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now).
All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now),
All together now (all together now)!

To the top, Johnny!

Hey Bulldog (Lennon/McCartney)--Originally called "Hey Bullfrog", but Paul, being his silly little self, barked at the end of the song. The Beatles decided to change it to "Hey Bulldog" even though a bulldog ceases to be mentioned in the lyrics. This was also the first session Yoko Ono attended with John Lennon.

Sheepdog standing in the rain,
Bullfrog doing it again.
Some kind of happiness is measured out in miles.
What makes you think you're something special when you smile?

Childlike--no one understands.
Jack knife in your sweaty hands.
Some kind of innocence is measured out in years.
You don't know what it's like to listen to your fears.

You can talk to me,
You can talk to me,
You can talk to me.
If you're lonely, you can talk to me.

Big man walking in the park.
Wigwam frightened of the dark.
Some kind of solitude is measured out in you.
You think you know me, but you haven't got a clue.

You can talk to me,
You can talk to me,
You can talk to me.
If you're lonely, you can talk to me.

Hey Bulldog,
Hey Bulldog,
Hey Bulldog,
Hey Bulldog.

What do you say?
I say ruff.
You know anymore,
ruuu ruff, waahhh,
That's it, you got it!
Quite, quite?
Hey Bulldog.

To the top, Johnny!

It's All too Much (Harrison)--There's an extra verse of this song on the movie that ya can't hear on the album.

Too much!
It's all too much,
It's all too much.

When I look into your eyes,
Your love is there for me.
And the more I go inside,
The more there is to see.

It's all too much for me to take,
The love that's shining all around you.
Everywhere, it's what you make,
For us to take, it's all too much.

Floating down the stream of time,
A mantra life with me.
Makes no difference where you are,
Or where you'd like to be.

It's all too much for me to take,
The love that's shining all around me.
All the world is birthday cake,
So take a piece, but not too much.

Set me on a silver sun,
For I know that I'm free.
Show me that I'm everywhere,
And get me home for tea.

It's all too much for me to see,
The love that's shining all around here.
The more I learn, the less I know,
And what I do is all too much.

It's all too much for me to take,
The love that's shining all around you.
Everywhere, it's what you make,
For us to take, it's all too much.

It's too much,
It's too much.

With your long blond hair and your eyes of blue,
With your long blond hair and your eyes of blue,
You're too much.

Too much, too much, too much,
Too much, too much, too much,
Too much, too much, too much,
Too much, too much, too much,
Too much, too much, too much,
Too much, too much, too much,
Too much, too much, too much,
Too much, too much, too much.

To the top, Johnny!

All you Need is Love (Lennon/McCartney)--Mick Jagger's in the audience when they sing it on that Our World thing along with Denny Laine and others!

Love, love, love,
Love, love, love,
Love, love, love.

There's nothing you can do that can't be done,
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung,
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game,
It's easy.

Nothing you can make that can't be made,
No one you can save that can't be saved,
Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you in time,
It's easy.

All you need is love,
All you need is love,
All you need is love, love,
Love is all you need.

All you need is love,
All you need is love,
All you need is love, love,
Love is all you need.

There's nothing you can know that isn't known,
Nothing you can see that isn't shown,
There's no where you can be that isn't where you're meant to be,
It's easy.

All you need is love,
All you need is love,
All you need is love, love,
Love is all you need.

All you need is love (All together now),
All you need is love (everybody),
All you need is love, love,
Love is all you need.

Love is all you need (love is all you need),
Love is all you need (love is all you need),
Love is all you need (love is all you need),
Love is all you need (love is all you need),
Love is all you need (love is all you need),
Love is all you need (love is all you need),
Love is all you need (love is all you need),
Love is all you need (love is all you need),
Love is all you need (love is all you need),
Love is all you need (love is all you need),
Love is all you need (love is all you need),
Love is all you need (love is all you need),
(She loves you yeah, yeah, yeah)
(She loves you yeah, yeah, yeah)

To the top, Johnny!
