there's one for you nineteen for me

Greedy George

Oh, no! Not another one of these pages! Muhaha, why yes, of course! What would BEATLEBOMB do without these? This page is only beginning (like everything else!) but you can see what Justice John has uncovered here already...and the evidence is building as we speak! Once again, don't take any of this to offense--it's all just for fun!

Quotes

Was George always a generous speaking man? X Lane investigates...

From HELP!...

Well, first of all, Greedy George SHOPLIFTS. Yes, I know! Shocking, isn't it? Well, not if you've visited the case in Justice John, or watched HELP! very closely, well you know. To learn more about this I suggest you visit Justice John, he has the complete trial. However, in a nutshell, Greedy George's hands just sort of sneak into the shot during the jewler scene and grab various objects off the shelfs and things and just puts them into his coat jacket. Very sneaky, that Greedy George is.

As Ringo is about to get his finger shrunk so the ring may fall off, George is speaking to John.
"Hey, there might be some insurance!" says Greedy George excitedly.
"I wouldn't think of such a thing!" John is shocked, but adds quietly, "find out, eh?"
We all know that Greedy George certainly will!

As the mad scientist, Foot, is demanding the ring from Ringo, Ringo shouts, "It's yours, it's yours." However, Greedy George is not so easy-going. He knows that there has to be money involved somehow.
"Hey, it's worth something, isn't it? A couple of bob at least."

At the Buckingham palace, Greedy George and Ringo are playing Greedy George's favorite game, poker. Of course, this is a golden opportunity for Greedy George to gain lots and lots of money, especially when he plays against Ringo.
"I'll raise yeh," Greedy George puts some more money on the table. As we watch Greedy George reach into his pockets we see that he has many bills in that coat pocket. "And again," George says as he lays even more cash on the table.
"You're joking!" Ringo exclaims in disbelief as he reluctantly lays more cash into the already vast pile. John and Paul continue to pester Ringo about cutting off his finger, and Paul asks Ringo to just "hold this drumstick." Ringo starts to play a simple little drum beat with his two sticks on the table, and Greedy George seizes the opportunity--what cards does Ringo have? If he's got a bad hand, worse than mine, I'll keep raising more and more and more! Money, money, money!
Ringo makes a comment about all the money Greedy George has raised the price, "You've raised a little.."
"Well, I've got a good hand," Greedy George defends himself.
"Well, you must have. The only time you lay any money down is when you got five aces." This implies that Ringo has seen Greedy George cheating before for the cause of money.
"Do you wanna see me?" Greedy George is casual and confident.
"I'm joking, take it!" Ringo succumbs and folds.
"Ha ha! Well, I will see it 'cause I've won it! Ha ha..."

At the bar, the four Beatles are ordering their drinks. Ringo gives the order to the bartender, and then looks around to see who is going to pay. He looks to Greedy George, who had just previously won piles of money from playing poker, but Greedy George appears to have no money. He acts as if he is searching his pockets thoroughly for money, but just shrugs at Ringo. Ringo ends up paying for all four of the drinks.

John and Paul are once again discussing the possibility of chopping off Ringo's finger. Greedy George has some input.
"You can have a fine theft policy for it. Five quid a week and that's your lot. They say it's 'cause you're a Beatle. Fingers weren't on it."

Greedy George is not just being the enviormentalist when he carpools with Foot and Algernon. He is being quite the cheapskate as he does not want to use his own car, which as he uses up the gas will cause him to buy more gas...and spend more money.

...We'll let you decide!
