Kakyuusei Screensaver Collection

The Kakyuusei Screensaver Collection is made by the same company that made the game, ELF.  This is based on the 1st Kakyuusei game of the series.  The disc was released in 1997.

As you can tell from the name of the CD, Kakyuusei Screensaver Collection contains screensavers.  Plus, it has character voice packs for you to customize your computer's sounds, a calendar, & wallpapers.  You can get some of these goodies directly from the disc, but some screensavers require you to use it's main menu program to get them since they require some special files to run them.  However, these special files are compressed into arc files & can be easily decompressed.  However, I don't know where these files are suppose to be located.  One screensaver that I should mention is quite special.  It's about 30MB & requires DirectX 5 at least to run it.  It's animation based & has sounds.  You need to have a Japanese based Windows or set your Windows to Japanese to run the disc since the CD file name is in Japanese.  English based Windows won't pick up the disc & treat it as if there is no disc in the drives.

I only put up some of the wallpapers & screensavers from the disc as samples.  I won't upload anything else from the disc for several reasons.  If you like what you see & read about the CD, you're on your own in finding it.

Screensavers

To install the screensavers, just double click on the icon or right click it & choose "Install" from the drop menu.  Please note that the files names are kept in Japanese characters.
