Kaku Bako - cocktail - soft Special Box
Kaku Bako - cocktail - soft Special Box is produced by Cocktail Soft, a division of FC02 & F&C. The disc was released on 2005.
I'm not too sure what this special box really is. I'm very tempted to say that this is a fan disc, but it's got more games than bonuses. A lot of the bonuses needs to be unlocked. They can be unlocked by completing the mini adventure game, Hotaru-no-toki. The game is a visual novel simulation ero-game, so it shouldn't be played by minors. After completing the game, you unlocked the remaining wallpapers in the wallpaper gallery & 2 mini games. The mini games are mah jong & a typing game. For each one, you compete 1 on 1 against 1 of the 3 heroines from Hotaru-no-toki. There are 3 different resolution sizes of the wallpapers & are based on FC02's past games such as With You, Canvas, & the Welcome to Pia Carrot!! series. None are from Hotaru-no-toki. Some are given to you while the rest need to be unlocked. However, you can get the locked ones from the CD directly without problems.
The games are Japanese text based, so you need to understand Japanese or have a translator such as Oh! Text Hooker or AGTH to play it. The mini games are fine since it's understandable & the typing game doesn't require you to type Kanji characters to play. You don't really need a Japanese based Windows or set it to Japanese to run this, but it would be recommended in order to play it right.
I only put up the wallpapers from the disc as samples. I won't upload anything else from the disc for several reasons. If you like what you see & read about the CD, you're on your own in finding it.

All thumbnail images are 800X600 & will lead to the full size image when clicked on. They were originally in 24-bit bmp format, but I re-saved them as jpg files to shrink the file size a lot.
