Suika Gashapon Set

I first saw this Suika gashapon set from J-Hobby from a few years back when I wasn't friends with the owner.  During that time, I thought gashapons were expensive since the time I went to Hong Kong for the first time looking for some anime stuff.  It was only until recently that I decided to get them.  Got them for a good price too since they have been sitting under the display counter for a long time.  Because it's based on the old eroge, I carefully looked at it before I purchased it since I'm not living alone & don't want any figurine with strong nudity.  Although there is a no nudity, there are some panties & shirt pull-ups in it.  They are in sexy poses.

There are two versions of Suika gashapon set available in the market: the regular & limited edition.  The limited edition has the full set like the regular edition & comes with two framed cards .  The price of this edition is ¥3,000 & has been sold out for a long time.  I've never seen the actual limited edition set for sale.  I've only seen it from EXhaust's website.

Currently, I haven't assemble or open this set since I'm thinking about looking for a display case to put them in.

The Review

You probably won't see much in this review, but I should give it out just in case people are planning to get this set.  There are five figurines in this set.  So, you don't need to worry about any secret characters.  Because I'm not too familiar with the series, I could be wrong with what I'm about to type next since I can't read Japanese.  The girls in this set are Itsuki Minase, Chitose Inaba, Shirakawa Sayaka, Nanashi, & Tohko Konuma.

Judging from the pics in the gashapon paper alone, they look good in terms of the scenery.  As for quality of the paint job, I don't know.  From what I seen in terms of painting & molding, it looks good so far.  As for faces, they aren't too bad.  Also, the poses are very revealing.  Lots of sexy positions while wearing hot clothing & revealing their panties.

Overall Conclusion

Currently, I can't grade the Suika gashapon set since it's all mixed up in that tight bag.  From what I seen, this isn't bad looking set.  I'll redo this review when I assemble them & have the time

If you are looking for Suika gashapon, you need to look for them on online auctions.  There are very few stores that still carrying this.  The market price for this varies.  It can go as as low as US$25 to as high as US$45.
