Introduction

Emi Isuzu is Box 3 for The Greatest Tag Boxxx!!!!! project.  I brought this Pinky from YesAsia & it was a good time too.  I never found it in where I live.  Isuzu Pinky has been sold out & probably won't be reissued since this is a limited run product.

Some of the pictures aren't clear & good.  If I have time, I'll redo the bad ones & repost them.

The Review

Emi Isuzu Pinky in the box & out of the box

Same design as previous Boxes.  The left side of the box has the head drawings of the three girls to make the full drawing with the three boxes & completes the stacked picture. 

In the box, you get Maya Pinky, six daggers, an extra body (school uniform), a tie for the school uniform, a display base, eight postcards (four are copies of past sexy works & others are different; one is a Pinky drawing, one Tenjho Tenge Pinky, & two new drawings of Isuzu Pinky), & a booklet.

Like past Boxes, the booklet contains 17 pages of mixing & matching Isuzu Pinky, an interview with Oh! Great, a gallery of the end of TenTen Pinky series & ads of Pinky products, Tenjho Tenge mangas, and Ultra Jump manga.

Maya in gothic lolita clothing from different sides

The gothic lolita clothing on Isuzu is quite good.  This Pinky has opened a new lineup for the Pinky product lineup which would feature a gothic lolita theme later on.  Back to this Pinky,  I had a few cases where the dress came off because it didn't join to the torso properly & it is heavy.  When the dress fell off, I was able to see some interesting.

If you people were thinking that I was talking about panties, you were dead wrong!  I was talking about her socks & boots where the dress covers.  You can see from the legs that they are non-removable daggers there.  Those really match Isuzu's character very well.

The boots are neat.  I like the way they were design.  Very gothic.

The stance isn't bad.  It portrays Isuzu well in holding those daggers.  Without the daggers, it isn't too bad.

For you people that customize your Pinkys that want to know about the hair, those pig tail line hair can come off.  Isuzu's right one doesn't stay on well.  It comes off at times when I touch it.

Some might be questioning how you can put all six daggers in Isuzu's hands.  Here's how it works.

The hole in the hand is actually a slot now.  It's a long rectangular hole which allows three daggers to be held.  However, there is a problem with this.  You must put three daggers in there.  Putting just one or two won't work cause it will fall out.  You can't put any other accessories there from other Pinky products, unless you put three items there.  This problem can be bad for people that customize Pinkys.  The hands really limits the customization feature of Pinky products.

I didn't want to remove the daggers to take the pic of the hand because it's very hard to put them in.  I had some incidents that I had the daggers fall out.  That hand holding design may be interesting, but I think more work should have been done to it.  Let's talk more about details of the clothing.

The paint job is superb!  Very little or no paint bleeding from the red ribbons to the dress.  However, the molding wasn't too good at the areas where the dress is molded together at the sides.  That molding problem is too large & is on both sides.  The back of Isuzu's dress is painted well too.  Although it may be hard to see in the pics due to the darkness & black clothing, the paint job is good.  The front is good as well.  The paint job on the daggers are good, but isn't worth mention much about.

Matching Isuzu's choice of weapons, daggers are imprinted on the display base.  A good choice by the makers to match Isuzu's taste.

The school uniform differs from past Boxes.  The shoes are black & the white socks are pulled up to the knees.  The legs are positioned differently as well, with her right foot bending a bit.

An evil looking face!

That face Isuzu has is quite evil looking, which is perfect for her character.  The workmanship is excellent.  The blush, the eyes, the lips very well done.  Hardly any signs of bleeding like other Pinkys.

Overall Conclusion

Isuzu is a good Pinky.  However, the molding design needs work as some of the parts just comes off when touched.  Most of the time, I have her displayed in her gothic lolita dress with the daggers in each hand.

I grade Isuzu a nine out of ten.  The high score was obtained from the gothic lolita dress & facial expression.  The lost point was the molding problems of the dress, the hands, & some parts not staying put.

If you plan on getting Isuzu Pinky, your best bet is to look for it on online auctions.  It has been sold out for a while & I haven't seen any online stores carrying it since.  She's probably the hardest ones to find in this lineup.  The market price I have seen for this Pinky is high, but decent.
