Introduction

I saw this Gundam Seed Destiny Stellar Loussier Mini Cushion on eBay & thought that looked cute.  Seeing the size & price, I hesitated a bit until I decided to take action.

This is one of many mini cushions that MOVIC released.  The full set contains all the young ZAFT & Earth Federation pilots.

Some of the pictures aren't clear & good.  If I have time, I'll redo the bad ones & repost them.

The Review

For a cushion that small, I have no idea what it's really used for.  Once, I tired using it as a wrist cushion when I used my mouse.  It felt comfortable, but the firmness of the cushion went from stiff to soft pretty quick.  And I didn't take it out of it's packaging to use it.  I came to a conclusion that it's possibility not used as a wrist cushion.  Anyways, let's talk about the design.

That stupid dazed SD look was what made me attracted to that cushion.  Stellar really looks out of it.  It was cute & funny.  The back of the cushion isn't too appealing with the words "Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny" on it.  The prints look like they can come off when you wash it a few times.

The stitching isn't too good & not too bad.  It's all one line stitching all around the sides.  Because of it's yen price, I guess you should expect high quality workmanship from it.  As long as it hold the sides together, I guess it's fine.

Overall Conclusion

Grading a cushion is usually personal taste.  But adding in the factor of useable & wearing & tearing, it shouldn't be too hard.  Currently, I haven't used it since I treated it as a wrist cushion.  It has been stored away in one of my desk drawers since then.

Out of ten, the Gundam Seed Destiny Stellar Loussier Mini Cushion finishes with an eight.  The design of SD Stellar is priceless to me.  But the use of this mini cushion is still a mystery to me.  I'm thinking it serves no useable purpose at all.  Plus, the stitching job could be a little bit better if possible and the firmness isn't too solid.

If you are looking for this Stellar mini cushion or the others, it can be quite hard to find.  Since MOVIC is pretty well-known for making very limited numbers of their products, you may face a tough time looking for them.  As for pricing, I'm not too sure what the market value is.  Chances are it's pretty low now.
