SR Capcom Real Figure Collection: Fighting Jam Gashapon Set

Introduction

When I first saw this Fighting Jam gashapon set on the web, I thought it looked cool.  Although it's mainly female characters, some of which are cosplaying as some male characters, it was quite attractive.  I picked up a set from J-Hobby for a hefty price.  The reason for it is because there are two sets in there.

Currently, I haven't assemble or open this set since I've got no room for them at the moment.

Some of the pictures aren't clear & good.  If I have time, I'll redo the bad ones & repost them.

The Review

SR Capcom Real Figure Collection: Fighting Jam Gashapon Set in package

You probably won't see much in this review, but I should give it out just in case people are planning to get this set.  There are 12 + 1 figurines in total.  Six of them are normal colour & the other six are in alternative colours.  The secret character, Chun Li, is only in one colour.  All 13 figurines are inside, which explains the size of the bag.  I don't know which characters are which since some of them are male characters in female form.  Plus, I haven't play all of Capcom's VS fighting games to know them.  If I could read Japanese, I would translate the names.

Can't really say much about this set since there are no pics of it & it's still in that tight plastic bag.  But the figurines don't look too bad in terms of the paint job.  There are some uneven lines here & there as well as paint bleeds.  Using the female version of Alex as an example here, the face work isn't too bad.  It's pretty clean & doesn't look sloppy.  It looks good really.  Past Yujin gashapons I had were bad on the face department.  They didn't look like their original counterparts.  For here, it's kind of hard to say since these are new female characters.

Overall Conclusion

I can't grade the SR Capcom Real Figure Collection: Fighting Jam Gashapon Set since it's all mixed up in that tight bag.  From what I seen, this isn't bad looking set.  But, there's too many figurines here & it can be a problem if you are a person that collects everything in a gashapon set, even if you go for the alternative colours.  I'll redo this review when I assemble them & have the time.

If you are looking for this set, you would probably give up on it.  If you don't mind repaints, Yujin released a version 1.5 of this set.  I think it's a different colour than the alternative set in the first version.  I don't know why Yujin would do that.  Chance of find version 1.5 is much higher than version 1.  If you really want this set very badly & don't mind different colours, go for version 1.5.  If you are picky, you may need to cough up more money for the first version.  If you want all two sets with the Chun Li secret, be prepared to pay even more.
