PEACH-PIT Sui-Mitsu-Kyo Artworks

Description:

This book covers art illustrations by two of PEACH-PIT's artists.  The illustrations are in black & white & full colour with some bright & dull shadings that you usually find in PEACH-PIT's works.  All illustrations are framed in a black border in all pages.  So you will not see a lot of white spaces in every page.  Aside from the illustrations, there is an interview section with the artists.  All works are not originals for this book as they are past works with references listed under the illustrations & in the reference section.  Most of the works are from the Aquarion Age trading card game.  Others from from pop novels & copyrighted materials (such as To Heart 2, Shana, & Kanon).  The only PEACH-PIT owned work found in this book is DearS.  The book comes with a peal effect dustcover which makes it stand out nicely on a coffee table.  Keep in mind that the book does contain some partial nudity.  Therefore, it shouldn't be left out for everyone to see.

If you like the art style of PEACH-PIT's soft works with big shiny eyes on their characters, this is a great book to pick up.  However, if you want artworks from PEACH-PIT's own works, don't look into this one.  Although it has DearS, there is very little of it inside the book.
