This book was sold with the North American version of the Nintendo DS game Castlevania: Portrait of Ruins as a limited preorder package. Along with the book is a CD soundtrack of the game. The book contains a collection of illustrations from game covers starting from the first Castlevania game in North America to illustrations by Ayami Kojima & other artists. None of the illustrations are new solely for this book. Also included are comments from Koji Igarashi (aka IGA), Ayami, & Michiru Yamane.
Fans of the Castlevania series should look into this book. Fans of Ayami Kojima's works should do the same as well since it's very rare to find illustration related books from her on the market.
