What is The O.C.?
     The O.C., which stands for Orange County, California, is a Fox Television show on Thursday nights 8/7 pm central.  It is a show about an idyllic paradise of a wealthy, harbor front community where everyone and everything appears to be perfect.  Beneath the surface of fancy dinner parties, luxury homes and cars, there lies a world of shifting identies, parents/teens living secret lives unknown to the world. 
       The O.C. follows the lives of the Cohen, Cooper, and Nichol families.  It goes deep into their lives and we see another side of Orange County.

      Ryan Atwood is a troubled teen form the wrong side of the tracks who's life has been anything but luxurious.  He has been constantley in trouble with the law and has hardly any family relationship.  His life suddenly changes when Sandy Cohen, an idealistic pro-bono public defender, invites him to stay in his guest house.  Sandy's wife, Kristen isn't to happy about Ryan moving in.  She worries about how it will affect heir teenage son Seth, who is a soulful dreamer and comicbook fanatic.  Meanwhile, next door lives the Coopers: Jimmy, Julie, and their teenage daughter Marissa.
