| The Adventure Begins.......... Note: Most of you will not understand anything until you read the character histories section, or the enemies for that matter. Please view them before reading this! Joshua is coming back from hunting. He has been living at Seith Falls for a while now. Soon, Squire Pagen comes up to his humble of ode. (Pagen is the messenger from the castle) He has a message to deliver to Joshua from King Rolland. Apparently, he wishes to see Joshua immediately. Joshua thanks Pagen for the message and travels to Seith Falls. In Seith Falls, he is a little worn out from the trip, so he decides to stop by the Pub for a little talk with his pals and for a drink or two. There he sees Le' andes, a women who is a skilled card dealer, so she cheats people in poker constantly for their money. Yep, she's at it again. This time though, the slum drunk she's dealing somehow finds out and is extremely angered. Violence is upon her. Suddenly Joshua steps in to break up the argument. The drunk attacks Joshua, and he easily takes him out. Not wanting to cause anymore trouble, Joshua and Le' andes leave the Pub. Le' andes is thankful for Joshua's assistance and begs to travel alongside him for protection. (She's wanted all over I guess) Joshua sighs, but agrees to let her travel along. As Joshua and Le' andes enter the castle of Seith Falls, Joshua glimses out of the corner of his eye Mihai. (He's quite fond of her you could say) A guard greets them and escorts them to the Throne Room. King Rolland greets Joshua. Joshua knows that the king has been acting strange lately, but now he knows that the rumours are true. The King is assigning an errand for Joshua. (He does those things) To kill a few townsfolk. Joshua knows the King would never do such a thing, and questions his authority. An angered King arrests Joshua and Le' andes and sends them to the dungeon. Luckily, Mihai being the princess has a key she kinda took. She lets Joshua free and apoligizes. She also knows the King isn't himself, but cannot speak to the public, for if she did, it would be her in the cell. She has in her pocket the mirror of truth. Whoever looks into it, shows their true identity. Joshua and Mihai free the rest of the prisoners, as well as Le' andes who is being passed around like currency. The three now travel up from the castle dungeon, and eventually into the Throne Room again. Mihai takes out the mirror and switches the mirrors with Rolland's. The true identity is revealed. A man in black, who calls himself "Lusipher" he attacks them, and the three of them overpower him. Lusipher mumbles on and dissappears. Miahi claims that it's no longer safe to stay in Seith Falls anymore. They must retreat into Infernason, the closest town, however before reaching Infernason, they must pass through the mountains in which it's blocking. The party fights and travels through the deadly mountain pass. About halfway into the pass, they stop to rest. Joshua brings some fresh rat ready to eat. Mihai is sickened. Princesses don't eat that stuff. She refuses, even if she has to starve. Joshua learns this new feature about her. The next day, early in the morning, they finish off the mountain pass. They finally reach Infernason. Infernason is already under siege (They are in war with Thyroson, an elf port city, and have been for several years) You'll learn about that much later though. The three help the siege a little and the King of Infernason, King Willaim would like to thank them. Joshua asks if he has seen a man named Lusipher and gives a discription. William states he did see a man in black pass by here a few days past going west into Vatecin. The group decides to follow him. Before they leave, William offers some service giving them Christosen, a squire. (Although he lies and says he's a knight to convince the party, and Christosen) The four of them travel south, and come to a fork in the road. To the east lies Cyclonopolis. To the west lies Vatecin. Knowing Lusipher went to Vatecin, they decide to head there. As they enter the gates of Vatecin, they see the awe and wonder of such a beautiful city. In the city, near a church they meet John. John is a Paladin of Vatecin who is looking for some fellow adventurers to assist him in a problem. John states that over 1 million gold in supplies was stolen from Vatecin recently. The King believes it to be the work of Borimi and his thieves. They hide out in Cyclonopolis, and his hideout can only be seen at night. Unfortunatly, John can not help the party at this time, due to war issues with the other feuding cities. Joshua remembers that they passed by Cyclonopolis, on their way the Vatecin, so they travel back the east. As they enter Cyclonopolis, it is in the daytime. Knowing his hideout cannot be seen during the day, they decide to rest at the Inn until nightfall. As they awaken, all of their stuff is gone! Everything! The group is angered and search for his hideout. Luckily, it is nightime. Grabbing information and getting passwords, they sneak into the Thieves' Guild quickly and quietly. They eventually face Borimi head to head and demand their stuff after a conversation. Borimi is surrounded, however he pulls a hidden blade from his sleeve and slashes all the party members in a whirlwind mode. He then escapes into the sewers of Cyclonopolis. Recovering from the mild wound, the group runs after him. The sewers are dark, and fierce creatures known as Shaugin roam the area. (Sewer creatures that carry halberds) After hours of travelling in the dark, deep sewers, they find Borimi in a dead end. They are not alone. Part 1|Part 2|Part 3 |
