La La La I'm very bored and frustrated, or maybe I'm not bored, but the fact is that I just met a massive dead-end alley, cyberally speaking, and I don't want to sleep knowing that I couldn't paste all of my work onto Bats For Mary, and it's basically really really pissing me off, and it's a White Girl Pissed Off, and what does White Girl do? YES! She becomes PRODUCTIVE. Um. As in: work. (ohhhhhhhh!) So I am going to start naming a few NAMES of people who tripped me in my life and sent me flying, and then said, "Wouldn't you be lucky if I caught you?" These are people I am very very grateful to (ha!), and I want them to be KNOWN (does this sound horrible?). So line up, line up! First of all is the all-time Genius and High Sir, Sanjiv. Sanjo is a madman who writes the greatest stories and emails, always making me feel lyrically untalented in comparison. And when I told him of my fear that I only write rubbish emails, he replied, "You do? How come I never get them?!" I thought that was very very wonderful refrigerator wars, and so I'm going to publish his greatest story ("Adventures Of Sanjoman"). CHEESE! Next up is Talula, Julia Brueck. Now there's a girl who's alternative, and life would not be the same without her head. Elysabeth / Mary / Bats / I would not be the same without her head. She is a goddess in my world, and I'm begining to think she'll never leave me alone, so... She writes fantastic poems, listening to GOOD MUSIC, and always introduces me to new ways and songs and camera perspectives and movies. For giving birth to Tilia Ocean Views with me, and sharing Little Plastic Songs: Thank you muchly! Tori is proud! (Datura too!) "we must never be apart." Iceland will never be the same after you. Je t'adore. Neeexxxttt is Reni. She's a princess, I love her, and she draws Good Stuff. I can talk to her about anything, and that's basically Happiness. A big hug to the sweetest Carrie who keeps insisting that she's not Carrie but actually Crazy Carrie. I think she's mistaking Carrie for someone else, so I'll just thank plain and simple Carrie. Carrie is a funny, cute girl, who also introduced me to Good Stuff (Boffy, haha!), and I also love her. Haha! She gave "laughing" a new definition. Melanie. Oh! Shocked to find YOUR name here, huh? Guilty conscience, huh? Well, Melanie is a red-witch (will she ever be wicca), who trips now and then, and melodies fall out of her head. If I ever figure out how to publish songs on my homepage, you guys will be hearing Melanie's songs over and over again. And they're good weed, too! Melanie, the colour red hasn't been the same since I met you. My Happy People: Adwoa Asiedu (the world's greatest neighbor and garage painter), Ifolo Nwulu (ifo, we have to write slave stories!), Sara Nassar (sraa, you bush monkey, you are paranoid), Sara Farooqi (for understandings), Juliana Sydenham (july! wildfire! bush reality!), Micha Abboud (for support, love, understanding, advice), Jack Ng (great "new" friend), Halszka Maria-Nau (for sharing and understanding), Matteo Micheletti (for loving and making me laugh my ass off), Veronica Lang (goddess, you're so dumb!), Laura Schlachter (kleine gasse's medea), Saskia Henner (sas blume I give my love), Tim McDonald ("that's about it, really..."), Megan O'Reilly (10,000 emails a day) Martyna Brz- (latina polaca!), Tabea Beyer (bee, rit, eldorado and annabel lee forever!), Michi Beyer (schaaaaaaatz), Damaris Beyer (mi chica linda para siempre), Daniel Pfrunder (katie holmes loves ya!), Rainer Koeller ("wir kennen uns nicht, aber ich finde dich toll"), Shiraz Bernat (forgive me for always writing back so slowly, but the truth is, I love you always!), Tori Amos (really deep thoughts), silverchair (you rock!), PJ Harvey (oh my lover), Apocalyptica (thank you!! thank you so much!!), Bif Naked ("I should examine my head" lucky ones), the Creative Dancing Club of St.Hildegard ("dream, dream, I have a dream, dream"),Youssou N'Dour (xale), John Lennon (I owe you one), anybody I ever sent a group email to and who hated me for it (love!), and the first cd I ever owned, Michael Jackson's "Bad" (even though my parents couldn't explain if this person on the cover was a man or a woman). JE AIME YOU LOT!!!!!! BEAUCOUP!!!!!! Thank you for sticking to me like flies in my strange life in this sick sad world we seem to love so much. |
