We are due to leave on 11 April. Immigration gave us a three month visa when we first arrived in the country. After we returned from the States we were given a fresh three months. We were able to extend our visa another two months with local help and "sponsorship".  There can be no more extentions but the boat could remain in the country while its Captain and crew went out and came back in for a fresh 3 months. This is made easy by Brunei being so close.

We plan to sail to Brunei and check in there. Then we will go out to the Malaysian free port of Labuan where a local regatta due to sail 100 miles to Miri in Sarawak will begin from on 18 April. We have no other immediate or even long term plans beyond this race.
