ICE is a locally based charity in Basingstoke, which helps to promote the integration and acceptance of physically disabled people back into society.
Although based in Hampshire, their members stretch as far as Swindon, Portsmouth and here in Worthing, where a regular fund-raising group is active.
Each year ICE organises holidays for disabled people who would otherwise have no means of getting away.
Volunteer helpers enable disabled holidaymakers to do as they wish on holiday, providing it is within the law of the country!!!
Without the support from the helpers, and all those engaged in fund-raising activities, we would not be about to continue such events, which truly brings happiness to all those taking part.
All support groups, however small, is truly appreciated by all those who benefit from the groups’ fund-raising activities.
