This an outline of my idea/vision. I am putting it together as business plan to apply for funding, once site is set up.
We could be in a position to accept children in need as
community/family/tribe, both my daughter & I have been involved for
many years now with co-counselling. Parent link parenting skills, she
is facilitating groups with young parents, we have also both done
foundation trainings in non violent communication skills. I am also an
artist & permaculture designer.
AIM
- To live a more sustainable, low impact ,environmentally
friendly & creative lifestyle, following permaculture & native
guidelines of respect for nature & all beings, earth care, people
care and fair shares.

To empower people, particularly, and not exclusively, young people,
through developing creative skills. Developing accreditation systems
for young people so they become self sufficient & able to create
their own meaningful work.

To facilitate cultural exchange, peace and understanding through creativity/diversity/ecological education.

To involve and benefit the local communities, wherever we are.

To raise ecological awareness & educate about solutions for tackling climate change.
HOW
-
By facilitating permaculture design courses & courses in survival
skills, low impact building, alternative and appropriate technology.
Alongside courses in the arts, performance arts practises, music,
creative arts & crafts. Ceremony & earth based spiritual
practises.

Education & skill sharing for all ages.
TIMELINE
Stage 1: Identify & purchase land, min 30 acres, with existing woodlands, river, clean spring water, some flat farmland.
Stage 2: Run full
permaculture/eco-village design course on the land (72hrs accreditation
by gaia university). Involving democratic process, listening skills,
non violent communication skills from the beginning.
Stage 3: Hands on courses: Low impact building, creating site. 3-6months.
Stage 4: Extend
courses alongside to include creative arts practises, eg: martial arts
,theatre, capoiera, african drum dance, brazilian drum/dance, singing
etc. Accreditation.
Stage 5: Also the
community members are developing small businesses, eg: Cafe/Venue,
gallery, providing outlet for local artists as well as community
members, building co-op, organic produce. etc.
Stage 6: Can start to host groups, cultural exchanges, etc.
Stage 7: Can start to accept young people/children into the community with special needs.
Stage 8: Developing performance troupe, creating outreach projects cultural exchange programmes.
Suggested Structure

Social enterprise - co-operative income sharing community. These guidelines will depend on numbers & areas of interest.
- Core group: Made up of one member of each working group.
Working groups of three, responsible for specific areas/activity
eg....land management, water management, waste management, finance
& administration, cafe/venue, buildings & structures,
children/education, health. & people care etc.

Whole group meetings monthly.

Developing L.E.T.S. local exchange trading system, inside & outside
the community. Members may rotate in groups to encourage development of
skills.

Guidelines based on respect for all beings,compassion, co-operation & love.
-
Everyone contributes to daily practical work - before play.
