Separable verbs are made of two parts: a separable prefix (usually an/aus/auf/bei/zu/mit etc) and the main verb.
eg: anziehen; einschlafen; aufstehen.
The main part of the verb is conjugated as normal and is the second idea in main clauses. The prefix goes to the end of the clause or sentence.
eg: um 7 Uhr stehe ich auf
um 10 Uhr schlafe ich ein.
Sometimes a separable verb can also be reflexive, such as "sich anziehen". As well as putting the separable prefix at the end of the clause we need to include a reflexive pronoun after the verb.
eg: ich ziehe mich um 8Uhr20 an
Um 8 Uhr ziehst du dich an.
