PRIDE FOR FCB

One of these days, FC Barcelona may have to consider the construction of a new building, attached to the FCB Museum, for the sole purpose of housing the space dedicated to Lionel Messi. The current Messi space in the museum got a little bit tighter on Friday, as the Argentine’s jaw-dropping fifth Ballon d’Or which he won on 11 January at the FIFA Gala in Zurich, Switzerland was added to the already copious collection of his awards that call the museum home.

Messi’s newest trophy was officially set in its place early on Friday before the museum’s first visitors of the day and a variety of Club officials. It was the final piece commemorating a 2015 that will go down in history, a year that saw Messi lead his team to a spectacular conquest of five major titles.
