VINE

Vine, also known as Vain, is a demon, recognized as a king among their kind and is the 45th recorded spirit in the sacred Ars Goetia.

Vine is a resourceful spirit who may catalyze the potential of an occultist, providing assistance for magickal initiation, granting further insights into one's craft, and revealing secret knowledge and hidden places or things. If there are occultists of any type in the vicinity, especially if they are concealing their ways, Vine may identify them and their practices. They are skilled in the art of Divination, and will give answers truthfully and perfectly regarding such matters. Waters may be churned or wracked with storm through their power, and they can both bring up and overthrow various fortifications such as towers or walls. They command a court of around 216,000 demons.

Riding upon a strong black horse, they come as a lion in bipedal or quadrupedal form, with a furious countenance and wielding a viper in their hand. When near the shore, waves may be thrown up at their arrival.

Because of their masterful cunning and the nature of their abilities, it is not reccomended for Vine to be approached by inexperienced occultists. Despite this, if communion can be achieved, the potential reward to be reaped might almost seem essential for the security of any serious practicioner. They are greatly knowledgable in the technical aspects of the occult and it's children, thus they may protect against spiritual attacks and foresee the methods of nullifying arcane appliances. Lions and serpents are both sacred to Vine.
