IPOS

Ipos is a demon, recognized as a prince among their kind and is the 22nd recorded spirit in the sacred Ars Goetia.
Ipos is likely the furthest image one would associate with the archetypical demon, yet their power and foresight is true and well respected. They are naturally adept in the art of Divination and from it enjoy a vast knowledge of different affairs. For those who seek it, they are a spirit of self-development, aiding others to attain wit, courage, and confidence in their feelings and choices, which can help aspiring occultists as they begin whatever training they desire. They command a court of around 216,000 demons.

They appear as a chimera being, usually with a goose's head and feet, a lion's body, a hare's tail, and humanoid hands, and they seem comfortable with this form enough to not deviate too noticably from it. Regardless of the odd-sounding nature of their composition, they are usually rather endearing in presence. It could be even said that they have a lion's heart, as they are as bold as they teach. Some claim that they are associated with the Egyptian deity Anubis in some way, though this is unlikely.

Ipos is an excellent guide and a legitimate companion for those who are fledgling in their spiritual arts, especially if they particularly struggle due to personal reasons. If approached with the humility appropriate for any demonic counsel, they will be quick to warm up to thee, almost like a cross between a distinguished dinner host and a loyal, loving pet. A dish filled with fresh water or any other kind of delectable liquid is a swell method of offerings for this spirit. Geese, rabbits, and lions are all sacred to Ipos.
