Possible Fungus Forest/Freezeezy Peak connection?

The Fungus Forest level is still in B-K!!!

If you look in the memory editor you can find the text "Jungle2" this might be Fungus Forest, but if you look farther down you can find "forest" this is FF. In the memory editor you can also find Snow2, but if you look farther down you can find Snow, this is Freezeezy Peak; I'll get to this later.
Deep within the game there's a level that's accessible by gameshark, or via a very secret way. There's beta pictures of this level, it's possible that Fungus Forest wasn't dropped and is still in the game by unlocking without a GS, but not likely. A picture of Fungus Forest is on the cartridge of B-K and there's a screenshot of FF in Banjo's house accross from the beach ending picture; is this Rare giving us a clue or is this just an out dated picture that was left in by accident? With a GS you can access a hidden song that's titled Advent; it sounds just like the song to Fungi Forest to DK64.
Everybody thinks that FF was dropped from B-K and was added in DK64, so people think that the song Advent in B-K has something to do with the hidden B-K B-T connection with DK64 and maybe it might (also not likely). That clears up the FF side of the Fungus Forest/Freezeezy Peak connection.

Normally in B-K and B-T a level entrance's surroundings look just like the level; but if you go up to the entrance of Freezeezy Peak you see there's this large picture/wall of Banjo and Kazooie with ?s and !s all over it; most people think this has something to do with the six mystery eggs but it doesn't. If you look at the whole thing you can see it is a gigantic Advent calendar (thanks Roystein for pointing this out). An Advent calendar is a calender that you get before December that has all the dates leading up to Christmas Day on it; it also has little doors with the corresponding date on it to open and reveal chocolates or other SECRET PRIZES (I'll take note of that).
Dictionary definition: A coming into place, view, or being; arrival: the advent of the holiday season.
Maybe this Advent thing has something to do with B-T, it came out around Christmas and near the begining of the intro cinema (the one where Grunty destroys Banjo's house) the music changes to where it sounds like the Advent song. Maybe there is still a connection between the two games...

You get what I'm saying here? Fungus Forest and Freezeezy Peak are somehow connected! If that wall at the entrance of FP is an advent calendar, then maybe you would do something to it to make a door open up that would reveal a secret prize inside! There has to be more to this than that jiggy; that whole wall for that just a jiggy? They could have done that easily with it just on the side of a mountain, like the rest of the FP entrance area.

Now about that Jungle2/Snow2 thing, these could possibly be other levels or areas that are similar to FF and FP that FF and FP lead to when they are connected. If FF and FP are somehow connected, then it could possibly mean that Jungle2 and Snow2 are connect too!
On the Rare Witch Project forums CYBEREN did a post about this following oddity:
In B-K, inside Boggy's igloo there's a picture of Freezeezy Peak at night. In B-T, inside Boggy's house at Hail-Fire Peaks there's a picture of FP during the DAY!
Here's a what I was thinking that I didn't read on the forum:
In Fungi Forest (DK64) you have the option of switching between night and day!!! This could have something to do with the FP night/day pics.
Dang! This is just getting weirder by the minute!

I'll update this if anything big comes up regarding this subject.

Update: June 15 2002 (same day I created this section); Rocketlex said this at the Rare Witch Forums:
"It seems to me that the Snow2 and Jungle2 may suggest a transitional area between worlds, like in BT when you have to go through a tunnel to get from GGM to WW. The fact that it's in two sections gives me this theory... There may be a secret exit in FP, probably one which was removed from the game, which took you back to Grunty's Lair but a totally different room. From that room (Snow2) you would go into another room (Jungle2) which would contain the forest level and probably its puzzle."

I think you're right! You figured out part of the connection! The reason for there not being a 'beach2', a 'spooky2', etc., is because none of the other worlds in B-K connect; maybe it's just those two. Great going Rocketlex!

Update 11/15/2002:
Well, apperently it's not still in there. Hacking with a GS and all, somebody (if not me) would have found it by now with the level mod code being hacked. I'm going to keep this up here anyway because there's a lot of interesting stuff in here, there might still be some REMAINS like the Advent track found by Ice Mario and Subdrag.
I'm offically closing this section until there's an official confirmation for it's existence. Hopefully all who have read this can learn more about the FF/FP connection, or how FF has a connection with both BK and BT. First thing on the site (besides the main pagee) and first thing to go. See ya around.
