BOREE REGATTA - 20 October 2007

The Scout Troop attended the water activities day at the Boree Regatta on Saturday and enjoyed a glorious summers day at the beach, had lots of fun and won lots of races.

During the lunch break we attended the Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) base and our Scouts communicated with other Scouts via the amateur radio network.

After lunch we entered teams in the biathlon races that required a team of four. The race started with a running leg; followed by a canoe leg; then a final running leg.

The last event of the day was the raft race.
The Scouts had to construct their raft without any adult helpers on the beach.
