Taking place in 16th century Japan, Wrath of the Ninja is the story is based on real events of the Civil War era, but with a touch of mystery and the supernatural. Ayame is the last of the Kasumi clan, and she possess a magical dagger, one of three weapons used to fight and control the demons that have sprung up around the countryside killing innocent people. When she joins forces Ryoma and Sakon, they must battle with the evil war-lord Oda Nombunaga for their lost kinsmen and for the good of Japan.
