Kris's Review

I’m a fan of The Who. I’m not a super-fan or anything like that, but they have some really good songs. I have decided that I really like live albums all of a sudden, so I decided to buy The Who live. While I was doing my research to see which live album I should get I became torn between two albums; The Who - Live at Leeds and The Who Live At The Isle of Wight Festival. I read reviews of Leeds and people said that it is the best live album ever put together. I read reviews of Isle of Wight that said it was better than Leeds, and other reviews saying that it is just as good as Leeds. I decided to get this one because it was the same price as Leeds, but with more songs. It was a very good decision on my part.

I really like this album. The Who have so much energy in their performances on it. It’s absolutely incredible. The solos are intense and it’s just gives me shivers. I like the second disc more than the first, but that might be because I have listened to the second one more than the first. The second disc flows so nicely. Everything meshes so nicely together. My favorite tracks are The Acid Queen, Pinball Wizard, and Summertime Blues. The Acid Queen is awesome to hear right at the beginning of the disc, and then it just slides into Pinball Wizard, which is such a cool song. And who can go wrong with Summertime Blues?

I highly recommend this album to any The Who fan or to anyone who enjoys listening to live albums. This is definitely one of the best live albums I have heard. The album has very high quality tracks, so it almost doesn’t sound live. This is a must for any The Who fan that doesn’t already own it. Get it...NOW!
