According to legend, the world consists of three dimensions - the Human World, the World of Man-Beasts and the World of Monster Demons. Every 3,000 years, the Overfiend is brought to life through the body of a human to destroy the existing world and unite these three dimensions into a new world of peace and happiness.

However, the new world that the Overfiend is supposed to create may be a sickening place of horrendous violence, uncontrollable lusts and supernatural forces beyond comprehension.

Is there any hope for humanity? Will The Legend Of The Overfiend become reality? From the animation geniuses who created Space Cruiser Yamato, this is the astounding and controversial theatrical masterpiece which singlehandedly launched the 'erotic grotesque' genre of Japanese animation, and has yet to be equalled - most defenitely not a cartoon for children.

I didn't have very high hopes for this movie, I thought it would be another one of those tentacle hentais that make you shake and shiver, and not in the good way. But I am ok with that, I watched La Blue Girl enough. So, let's begin with how much it's not like La Blue Girl tentacle sex scenes at all. Yeah, that's right the demons have tentacles that look like penises, but they don't use them for it. Well, maybe there was one time they did.

The love between the two main characters was pushed, but the rest of the story made up for that. I enjoy movies that give you a prophecy and make you think that it is one way, and then turns the whole thing around on you. There was nothing really that horrible about the movie that makes it not worth seeing. The characters were well defined, and they weren't perfect or right all the time. They had their flaws, and if it weren't for the sex scenes I think this would of made a great movie for normal anime fans. Though alot of the sex scenes add to who the characters really are, and there deepest desires.

This was a great demon hentai, no scarey tentacles, and though there were rape scenes, they weren't awful. The girls actually attempted to fight to get away, which is something you NEVER see. Definately worth watching for any hentai fan or anime fan who isn't afraid of a little sex scene or two.
